Rubber Nature Tool Stamp Workshop    Join Sandi Obertin of Rubber Nature ArtStamps for her innovative RUBBER NATURE TOOL STAMP WORKSHOP. Do you love making people wonder how you did that fabulous rubber stamped card??!! I do too! And I will share my secrets with you! I promise that by using my innovative Rubber Nature Tool Stamps properly YOU will be able to create amazing special color and design effects. My Rubber Nature Tool Stamps will allow you to work with color in different ways and to create awesome special effects designs in seconds! *Please see leaves photo sample. Each leaf was created using exactly the same ink color in exactly the same order! The only variable was the Tool Stamp. YOU will learn to take an image -- almost any image -- and change it a multitude of different ways! You will leave this class with some wonderous art components that you can later use for scrapbooking, card making, collage... whatever! *Your class fee includes a six piece Rubber Nature Tool Stamp Kit with color samples and instructions. Use your kit in class and then take it home to create with. All skill levels welcome. Students please bring: scissors (straight edge and fancy edge); a favorite rubber stamp or two and a glue stick. . **DESIGNING WITH RUBBER NATURE ARTSTAMPS TEXTURE MATS** Sandi Obertin, instructor   During this class you will have the opportunity to work with our deeply etched texture mat images and learn use them in an awesome variety of ways! We will be working with a variety fun techniques, interesting art materials and creating some fun pieces for you to use later in your various projects. (Please see samples) *Class fee includes one texture mat made up of several different designs. You may use the texture mat in class and then take it home to create more fun works later. *Students please bring: scissors (straight edge and fancy edge); a glue stick (heat tool - optional) All other supplies will be provided. *All skill levels are welcome.
 POLYMER CLAY ACCENTS & JEWELRY with Wisconsin artists Lynn (Mr. O), Sandi and Jennifer Obertin (2.5 hours) All supplies will be provided. Students please bring: a fresh polymer clay blade. OPTIONAL: Tweezers; Jewelry pliers; Toaster oven; Pasta machine  For many years the Obertin Family made their living as clay artists working with
kiln fired stoneware, earthenware and porcelain clay bodies. About 20 years ago polymer clay crept its way into the Obertin studio. Working with polymer clay 20 years ago presented some real challenges but also had a lot of appeal because of its forgiving nature; the fact that it does not have to be kiln fired; its portability, easy of coloring (no messy glazes to mix) and ability to accept non-clay accents. The Obertins learned a lot about working with polymer clay and will share a lot of great tips with you during this fun filled and technique packed class. Our focus will be on attention to fine detail as we create small one of a kind works of art. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of Rubber Nature texture mats, texture molds and bead rollers as well as accent embellishments; findings and colorants. POLYMER CLAY PAPERWEIGHTS All supplies will be provided. Students please bring: fresh clay blade and a pair of scissors. OPTIONAL: Tweezers;Jewelry pliers; Toaster oven; Pasta machine  Join Sandi Obertin for a polymer clay class like no other polymer clay class! You will be creating one of a kind Polymer Clay Paperweights and the sky is the limit! During this class you will have the opportunity to learn to: work with a variety of colorants; combine designs; assemble layers; create dimension; work in the round; work with Rubber Nature texture mats and clay molds; use a sealant; add embellishments. The techniques taught in this class and the tips that will be shared are useful for creating all kinds of polymer clay projects from jewelry to keepsake boxes to vases! The Polymer Clay Paperweights make wonderful heirlooms and awesome gifts! Please Note: There will be a 30 minute break during the middle of this class. Students may work on other projects, shop, or relax.
**SHRINK ART EXTRAVAGANZA ** with Jennifer Obertin of Some Things Fishy Rubber Stamps *Students must bring scissors. Optional supplies for students to bring: chalks; colored pencils; heat tool; jewelry pliers. *All skill levels welcome. * 2 hours  Class Description: *Jennifer will teach a variety of techniques as they relate to black, clear, white and translucent shrink plastic. You will have the opportunity to work with different colorants (find out which ones work!) and rubber stamp images. Learn to create flat, dimensional and intaglio designs as well as combined and collaged designs. *Fun embellishments such as wire, beads, jewelry findings, and finish coat will be provided. *You will have the opportunity to create elements for future projects or create a specific project that you can finish during the class. The choice will be yours. FRAMED MAGIC MOSAICS ** with Jennifer Obertin of Some Things Fishy Rubber Stamps  Class Description: *Jennifer will teach you a multitude of super techniques and stamping tricks as you create beautiful mosaic works of art! You will have the opportunity to work with ColorBox Vivid and Crafter's Inks; the newest SOME THINGS FISHY RUBBER STAMPS Texture Mats; and wide variety of Jennifer's strong graphic images. There will be a wide variety of embellishments on hand for your use such as wire, beads, watch faces, dominoes and other fun accents that you can use to enhance your mosaic artwork with if you wish. This is truly an" ooh ah" class! You will be thrilled with the class and the artwork... artwork that is worthy of framing! *SPECIAL NOTE: Frames will be provided. *Class participants please bring: a pair of scissors and a glue stick.
